As long as Debian testing (upcoming Bullseye) is in freeze and
pending, we will keep focusing on 10.5 and polishing it and uploading
it to unstable when needed.

Only after Bullseye is out it makes sense to import anything new into
Debian unstable. Anyway 10.6 hasn't been announced GA by upstream yet
either.
