Modifying .editrc seems like a change that could have a lot of side
effects. Maybe "backwards compatibility" or migration from readline to
libedit should be handled by libedit in some more generic way so we
don't have to adapt in MariaDB packaging?

Or should we maybe go back to readline if it is better?
