Hi Faustin,

sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation for a few days.

default character set changed here:

I'm not sure how Debian builds Connector/C, the default character set can
be specified by cmake option -DDEFAULT_CHARSET=latin1.

I just checked server builds: 10.3 - 10.6 have default=latin1, 10.7 and
later have default=utf8mb4
