Yes, I tested a few days ago, and the patch fixes the link error, and
mariadb builds but ultimately failed in the test suite with:
Too many failed: Failed 19/386 tests, 95.08% were successful.
My recollection is that when I first reported this at version 10.6.7-3
only a couple of the tests failed, and were easily worked around, so it
would seem something further has gone wrong in the meantime. But it
might have been a problem in the host system which had a full system
disk at the time, so I will rerun the test build as it could be quite
some time before the Alpha buildds pick up mariadb for building again
due to the backlog.
