Hi!
The Debian release team did not accept MariaDB 10.11.2-2 or -3 to
migrate from Debian unstable to testing (Bookworm) because it had a
large amount of bugfixes, and the release team (who was reviewing raw
debdiff and not the git commits) got concerned that there are too many
changes.
I have now pre-approval from release team in Bug#1036081 to upload
10.11.3 to Debian unstable and get it migrated to testing (Bookworm)
but on the condition that some of the commits in February/March to be
reverted if they are not absolutely necessary for Bookworm.
However, bugfixes and their necessity is subjective. Therefore I would
request your feedback on
https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-server/-/merge_requests/45
so we can settle on what commits to revert before uploading MariaDB
10.11.3.
