[debian-mysql] Contacting the Debian MySQL/MariaDB Team

Hi Andreas!
Sorry for the delay in replying.
Currently I am the main maintainer for MariaDB and Lena is for MySQL.
I believe Lena is employed by Canonical and doing packing work
professionally. All my work in Debian as a fully volunteer based,
although my employer (AWS) has a relationship with MariaDB (AWS
systems are Fedora based so they have no interest in MariaDB in Debian
and do not sponsor Debian work). There are also some database
connectors under the team umbrella but their maintainers are currently
quite passive.
In particular the main MariaDB Server package has a lot of users, and
thus a bunch of drive-by-contributions. I try to facilitate growing
contributors by rewarding all code submissions with fast turnaround on
reviews.
Upstreams are also fairly active in following up on reported issues.
I don't think the team needs anything special. As Debian Leader your
time is probably spent best focusing on the overall
org/infrastructure. You don't need to worry at least for these
packages. Thanks for checking up though!
