Package: mariadb-client
Version: 1:11.4.2-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
In version 1:11.4.2-1, the conffile
/etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-mysql-clients.cnf was dropped from mariadb-client.
However, the obsolete conffile is not properly cleant up during the upgrade
(e.g. from bookworm to trixie):
$ adequate mariadb-client
mariadb-client: obsolete-conffile /etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-mysql-clients.cnf
$ dpkg-query -W -f='${Conffiles}\n' mariadb-client | grep obsolete$
/etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-mysql-clients.cnf 2e0e48974b270cb20c2b66aa71f6cd92 obsolete
Please use the dpkg-maintscript-helper support provided by
dh_installdeb to remove this obsolete conffile on upgrade.

Thanks for your work,
