I think the biggest question what version of make are you using. I know there is an issue with parallel builds with make 3.81, and was fixed in 3.82<br>

The build log says 4.0-8. According to <a href="http://packages.qa.debian.org" target="_blank">packages.qa.debian.org</a> this is the same as the version in Debian jessie/sid.<br>
