[Pkg-nagios-devel] Bug#287792: nagios-mysql: cgi report Error: Could not read host and service status information!

i can confirm this here: no config-file was altered, but after an
"apt-get dist-upgrade" today nagios-mysql is not working any more.
however, nagios itself was not upgraded, but mysql was, so *maybe*
mysql is to blame here...will/have to investigate, but a little help
would be nice.

/var/log/nagios/nagios.log gives:

Error: Could not insert/update status record for program in table
'programstatus' of database 'nagios'

but mysql.log grants access to my nagios-user here and is showing 
"INSERT INTO programstatus" messages over and over (as usual?)
