i think having a seperate package for each icon set is major overkill.
i would say either have a nagios-icons package which has the
debian-selected set of icons, or even just have them included as part of
nagios-common.

i agree. add the new, consistantly named commands, remove the
inconsistant ones at a later point post-sarge.
