hey folks,

since we're changing the version to appropriately reflect the fact
that 1.3 ("1.x") is from cvs, we might as well upload a new upstream
source tarball too. i just downloaded the latest cvs snapshot today,
and will use that. this means i'll also be removing the dpatch
patch set 999_cvs_1x_bugfixes.dpatch too, which doesn't seem to contain
anything not in the latest cvs snapshot.

so, after i make the next set of cvs commits, but before the source
is uploaded into sid, you may want to grab an updated tarball. i took
a look at some diffs between what we have, what's in dpatch, and what's
in the latest cvs and i don't think anything should break, but you might
want to keep your eyes out, just in case :)
