i have to admit that i usually just comment out the examples and use
a totally different set of commands. perhaps the examples could use
some revising. for example, a check_disk that worked for all mounted
partitions would be nice as well. please open a wishlist bug on this
to keep me reminded about this and i'll take a look at it in the near
future.

feel free to open a bugreport about allowed hosts as well :)
as for nrpe.cfg vs nrpe_local.cfg, what would the effective difference
between the two files be then?
