[Pkg-nagios-devel] Bug#396337: check_tcp: check_tcp (check_pop)
fails on some specific +OK messages

Package: nagios-plugins
Version: 1.4-6
Severity: normal
File: check_tcp
I have a very strange phenomena here. It looks like check_tcp has a boundary problem, being called as check_pop.
If a server answers with this string:
+OK <ad4f481f24925e63234cd40b1438880f at imp.ch>
it get's a timeout.
If the string is slightly longer, example:
+OK <967fd6478ffaf99f8cfb90c0466767b5 at teleport.ch>
it is always successfull.
>From my point of view only the lenght of the return string is relevant to cause this timeout.
Any ideas?
