[Pkg-nagios-devel] Bug#414652: nagios2: notifications not working

This apparently started with an update sometime after mid jan.

Notifications were working fine, and after bringing this system upto
date, I find that no notifications are getting sent.

I turned on notification logging - and nagios thinks it has done a
host-notify-by-email... but nothing reaches the local MTA.

I added /usr/bin/logger to the front of the host-notify-by-email command
string and it does get written out to syslog.

# dpkg -S /usr/bin/mail
mailx: /usr/bin/mail

I am using the stock /etc/nagios2/commands.cfg as provided by the
nagios2-common package

This is happening on two very different systems, so this should be
reproducable elsewhere... unless there is something very wonky on the
left(wrong)-coast :)
