Hi Jan,
I wasn't sure whether that was purposely passed over or whether it
might have been a minor oversight. From my perspective as a user it
seems worthwhile to make sure that scripts provided with the package
work without modification, where possible and reasonable. If it make
the package a nightmare to maintain, then it may not be worth the
trouble in this case.
