Hi Al,

since check_by_ssh now has included options for choosing ssh version:

 -1, --proto1
    tell ssh to use Protocol 1
 -2, --proto2
    tell ssh to use Protocol 2

I'm closing the bug. If you experience any problems, feel free to open 
the bug again.
