Recently, for no reason I have been able to determine, I have been seeing messages such as the following appearing in nagios.log:

[1238863515] Error: Unable to rename file '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/checkVlCL3P' to '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/cHSsrUD': No such file or directory
[1238863515] Warning: Unable to move file '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/checkVlCL3P' to check results queue.
[1238863515] Error: Unable to rename file '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/checkVlCL3P' to '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/cWttTUD': No such file or directory
[1238863515] Warning: Unable to move file '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/checkVlCL3P' to check results queue.
[1238863515] Error: Unable to rename file '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/checkVlCL3P' to '/var/lib/nagios3/spool/checkresults/cG4hnVD': No such file or directory


I'm uncertain if this is harmful, Google is unhelpful as to what the cause of this error might be.
