[Pkg-nagios-devel] nagios3 moves to git

Hi folks,

as announced/discussed before I moved pkg-nagios3 to git. I managed to
convert the svn repo properly (with tags and authors) into a git repo without
loosing anything [1],[2].

I still use a debian/ only layout and I plan to continue to use this. Since
git-buildpackage does not play nice with debian/ merge I wrote my own
wrapper which could be found here:
http://git.snow-crash.org/?p=git-bp.git;a=summary

So please don't commit anything to svn for nagios in the future, use git.

If nobody objects I will also move the other packages which are not active
maintained from one person to git too in the next days (nagios-nsca,
nagios-nrpe, nagios-images). If one of the other packages should also
converted to git just give me a hint and I can do that for you.
