I tend to disagree here. I think that the main feature used in Nagios
(and thus Icinga) is the monitoring abilities....so that word IMHO
deserves to be in the synopsis.

Moreover, my own philosophy with these tools is that they are *not*
management systems. After all, most system administration is done
outside the tools and their main (and often only) job is to report
problems with hosts.
