Maybe some images could be copied (and adapted) from the dia package?
Assuming that dia's debian/copyright file is correct, they should be
available under the terms of the GNU GPL v2...

It is probably safer if those logos and pictures are replaced by more
generic symbols, I guess...

At least, this is my impression.
