I don't agree here. The package "nagios-snmp-plugins"[2] has no (strong) 
relationship to the packages resulting from "nagios-plugins" source package, 
as it has a complete different code base. Renaming the package would suggest 
such a relationship and maybe also, that this will be a generic package with 
nagios snmp plugins, which is not true.

This is really easy to fix for example with:

$ apt-cache search nagios snmp
nagios-snmp-plugins - SNMP Plugins for nagios
