/etc/init.d/nagios-nrpe-server incorrectly sets PIDFILE=/var/run/nrpe.pid.
The correct setting is PIDFILE=/var/run/nagios/nrpe.pid.

This causes all actions other than "start" to silently fail. The most obvious
symptom is that configuration changes will not take effect after a "reload"
or "restart".
