but Jörg denied it; I guess solely becaus he wants to not change the historic default (?).
Anyway,... maybe it's something we'd like to do on a distro level.
Right now, /var/tmp is used for storing temporary files during the generation
of PDFs.
/var/tmp, though, is "reserved" by FHS for temp files that must survive a reboot,
which is IMHO not the case here. If a reboot took place, any HTTP connections
that might have requested a PDF are anyway gone, as well as the PHP process
that would continue to use the temp files to make the PDF.
It's rather a cosmetic/perfetionist thingy... so in principle I don't have a big
problem with how Jörg decided.
