Hi!
The binary packages nagvis and nagvis-demos produced from this source
package ship cache files (under /var/cache/nagvis/). This is wrong, as
those files might get removed by the system at any time, they should
be either generated at installation or ideally at runtime, because the
program needs to work even if these are not present when starting. I
don't know if this would be the the case here, but the software should
consequently be checked to make sure it works even if the
/var/cache/nagvis/ directory or its contents have disappeared.
I realize the lintian warnings have been overridden, but there's no
rationale as for why?
Thanks,
Guillem
