I've already fixed that the day the bug report was released. Thanks for 
the nice crash.sh, was very easy to reproduce and fix.
The fix is already in 1.9.2 upstream release (current is 1.9.3).

If you require backported versions (e.g. for wheezy) look at the git 
branches named "support/1.*" - I've cherrypicked the patch into 1.8 and 
1.7 too. squeeze is not affected, 1.0.2-X did not get the faulty feature 
commit.
