Package: nagios-snmp-plugins
Version: 1.1.1-10
Severity: serious
User: debian-qa at lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install. As
per definition of the release team this makes the package too buggy for
a release, thus the severity.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Selecting previously unselected package nagios-snmp-plugins.
(Reading database ... 8681 files and directories currently installed.)
  Preparing to unpack .../nagios-snmp-plugins_1.1.1-10_all.deb ...
  Unpacking nagios-snmp-plugins (1.1.1-10) ...
  Setting up nagios-snmp-plugins (1.1.1-10) ...

Creating config file /etc/nagios-plugins/config/snmp_cpfw.cfg with new version
cp: cannot create regular file '/etc/nagios-plugins/config/snmp_cpfw.cfg': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing package nagios-snmp-plugins (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   nagios-snmp-plugins

The package should ship /etc/nagios-plugins/config as an empty directory.
dpkg will take care of creation and removal.

cheers,

Andreas
