What about check_mk, in particular check-mk-multisite and check-mk-livestatus ?
As far as I can tell, these packages are not part of Jessie.
Check_MK is compatible with Icinga.
Perhaps this is not the right place to ask, but are there any plans to package check_mk for Jessie ?

I have it as a Debian package, if that helps. (based on the Nagios3 package).
I’ve added a fee patches of my own, to keep the logging sane, and ported all that seemed to apply from the Nagios3 package.
Do you think Icinga has replaced Nagios?
I think the time of those nagios based stuff is over. It was nice ~10-15
years ago, but time moved on. Icinga2 on the other hand feels a lot more
modern and it is not developed in a crippled model (opencore) like nagios4.
Your package only help if you want to be responsible for the nagios package
in the next few years.
