So why keep them installed by default in */etc/* ? Maybe should be
somewhere in /usr/share/doc/.../examples/ instead, if they don't make
much sense (like: look, this is upstream defaults, but Debian defaults
are a bit different) ?

Or at least, indications should be given on how to get rid of
these... which ain't easy to find IMHO.

I found threads mentioning notification filters, but I can't seem to
find a way to declare that I don't want to be notified of downtime
starts and stops for localhost, for instance...
