Package: snmpd
Version: 5.2.3-7

snmpd running for ~12 hours:
snmp 11673 0.0 1.3 14452 2932 ? S May02 0:00 /usr/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <hostname>:
snmp 11673 0.0 1.4 14592 3072 ? S May02 0:00 /usr/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <hostname>:
snmp 11673 0.0 1.4 14592 3092 ? S May02 0:00 /usr/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <hostname>:
snmp 11673 0.0 1.5 14592 3344 ? S May02 0:00 /usr/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid

The system is snmp-monitored from cacti and nagios. After ~1 week the system slows down because of swapping. After /etc/init.d/snmp restart all is back to normal.

Regards,
Frank
