Would it be possible to:
- provide the output of "ifconfig -a",
- run snmpd (with "-f") under gdb and provide the stack trace when it dies?

There's a known upstream problem documented/discussed on

. Could you please check whether this matches with your symptoms and
whether any of the referenced patches fixes the issue for you?
