I've made some experimental packages with this fix for those  
interested.  I'm not  a maintainer or generally a debian developer, so  
I've put them on my company FTP.  Please feel free to try, but no  
warranties are given or implied!  (aka... YMMV)   Only the amd64  
binaries are provided, but as is the source...
