[Pkg-net-snmp-devel] Bug#641608: net-snmp - please include mibII/mta_sendmail module in default binary (libsnmp15 5.4.3~dfsg-2)

Package: libsnmp15
Version: 5.4.3~dfsg-2
Severity: wishlist

With the default debian package the MTA-MIB module does not work:

# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public localhost  .1.3.6.1.2.1.28
MTA-MIB::mta = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

If you rebuild the binary package with the additional compile flags

'--with-mib-modules=mibII/mta_sendmail'

The module gets included and this MIB and associated objects works as it should, for example the
mtaStoredMessages oid:

# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public localhost   .1.3.6.1.2.1.28.1.1.2
MTA-MIB::mtaStoredMessages.1 = Gauge32: 0

Would it be possible for the binary package to be built with this option included?

Debian: 6.0.2
Kernel: 2.6.32-5-amd64
Libc6 version: 2.11.2-10
