[Pkg-net-snmp-devel] net-snmp in Debian

Hi,

I'm following net-snmp changes in Debian for a while now and noticed
that the last uploads were NMUs and there were no uploads of new
upstream versions.

It would be nice to ship a newer net-snmp with wheezy. So I wonder if
there are any plans to do this or if there is sth. that I'm just missing?

Otherwise, I would like to just add myself to the uploaders' list and
integrate a newer net-snmp upstream package, and fix some open bugs (the
BTS collected quite some patches).

Any thoughts?
