Package: netatalk
Version: 4.2.1~ds-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: pkg-netatalk-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org
A long-standing bug with option indexing in afpd has been discovered and fixed upstream.
This bug causes unreliable behavior of the config file parser when specifying a custom afp.conf file with the -F parameter.
Bug report and discussion:
https://github.com/Netatalk/netatalk/issues/2150
Pull request with the fix:
https://github.com/Netatalk/netatalk/pull/2153
Upstream v4.2.3 contains the fix, so upgrading to this version is recommended.
