From TomBertram at mpdva.com Mon Aug 24 12:42:27 2026 From: TomBertram at mpdva.com (Mpdva) Date: Mon, 24 Aug 2026 11:42:27 +0000 (UTC) Subject: [Pkg-netatalk-devel] Notes: return instructions beside the summary Message-ID: >From the desk Good morning Pkg Netatalk Devel, Two small things worth keeping nearby. When you send a summary to someone who owes you a reply, put the return instructions next to the summary ? not in a separate thread or buried at the bottom. It saves the other side from hunting for the where and how. Here?s a three-step habit we keep: Step 1 Write the reply address and deadline line immediately under the summary, in the same message. Step 2 Add a short action line: ?Reply here by Friday, or just say //received//.? Keep it to one sentence. Step 3 Keep a copy of that line in your own notes, so you can follow up without re-reading the whole chain. That?s it. The summary stays readable, and the reply path is visible without extra clicks. We will keep these short. Reference copy: https://mpdva.com/ Kind regards, Tom Bertram MPDVA TomBertram at mpdva.com This note was sent by Tom Bertram | MPDVA ?
