You are right. Netatalk2 is quite useless since the main goal is now to
be able to do TimeMachine properly.

But… it is not really necessary to have it entered in stable. It would
be interesting to just have a regular debian package to download (or
compile) somewher, not to compile from scratch a TGZ as we have to do
for now.

I have seen someone having such a source package somewhere, is it
downloadable ?
