This makes the logs rather incomplete. (IPv4 events still work correctly.) - This was fixed upstream in ulogd2 commit f04bf6794d11 and several following commits, in 2023, which appear to be present in upstream release 2.0.9 (released in May). - I've been running a local build from git, as workaround, for the last year. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.0 APT prefers testing-security APT policy: (500, 'testing-security'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-37-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages ulogd2 depends on: ii adduser 3.152 ii init-system-helpers 1.68 ii libc6 2.41-10 ii libmnl0 1.0.5-3 ii libnetfilter-acct1 1.0.3-4+b3 ii libnetfilter-conntrack3 1.1.0-1 ii libnetfilter-log1 1.0.2-4+b1 ii libnfnetlink0 1.0.2-3 ulogd2 recommends no packages. It is indeed fixed in 2.0.9. Unfortunately, the release of 2.0.9 coincided with the freezing of Testing / Unstable in anticipation of the release of Trixie. I have prepared a new package which I will upload once Trixie is released (I believe the provisional release date is 2025-08-09).
