Thanks, I'm not sure I'm interpreting this right. In my report I noted
that nvidia-glx diverted /usr/lib/libGL.so to
/usr/lib/nvidia/libGL.so.xlibmesa, but the latter is missing:

and also I see that libGL.so.1.xlibmesa points to a non-existent target
(libGL.so.1.2). Am I missing something? I'm not sure either whether this
is the root of the problem that prompted to send the report; namely that
building some packages (CVS grass, a GIS) require libGL.so (which no
longer exists with nvidia-glx) for compiling (though not at run time). I
suppose there must be a bug either in nvidia-glx or CVS grass shouldn't be
looking specifically for libGL.so and let libGL.so.1 take over it. Any
thoughts? Thanks.
