None of the 9xxx cards are supported in the latest stable driver release
from nvidia. The 173.08 beta driver supports them though. We may make
an upload of 173.08 to experimental to help people that are starting to
get the new G9x based cards but haven't done that yet. I have already
got a package for 173.08 on my machine that I have been testing, and so
far no problems with it.
The same goes for the 8400 cards.
