[pkg-nvidia-devel] Bug#499636: nvidia-kernel-legacy-96xx: Incorrect version number encoded into nvidia.ko

Justification: breaks the whole system

I manually built this from sources, substituting
__COMPAT_SEMAPHORE_INITIALIZE and such for rt patch usage.
I installed Nvidia's libglx.so

On restart, complained about improper driver version 96.43.01. I used vi to
manually replace the 01 with 07 and x started up just fine.


I do not know if using m-a would have had the same problem but there was no
make option except for setting the kernel source directory.
