[pkg-nvidia-devel] [n-g-d 190xx] directory layout proposal for moving to source format 3.0 (quilt)

Hi Russ,

eventually the following directory layout will be suitable for moving to
 format 3.0 (quilt). Primarily that requires removing everything from
the root and putting it under debian/ (so it goes into the
.debian.tar.gz instead of some patch). Fortunately after all my patches
not that much is left in the root directory :-)


debian/
    module-source/    (better name welcome)
        debian/       (from /debian.binary/)
        Makefile      (from /Makefile)
        conftest.h    (from /conftest.h)
        conftest.sh   (from /conftest.sh)
        patches.h     (from /patches.h)

debian/module-source would contain in one place everything that is
copied over the nvidia module source.


Should we add $(debian.binary)/source/format = 1.0, too? Just for
completeness?
Since the package is not unpacked/built the "regular" way (but using m-a
(or even manually) which does 'tar xfj' instead of 'dpkg-source -x') I
don't see any way to use a source format other than 1.0 there.
