Just saying that Jan-Pascal van Best's patch works fine :)

some minor issues:

- needs a newline at the end of the file, otherwise my `patch` complains
- probably better to call it 256.44-0 rather than 256.44-1, since the official
  maintainers will probably want to use the latter
- i had to download the *.run files manually, from [1][2]. sha256 sums are:
