using nvclock results in numerous warnings from the kernel in
/var/log/messages, along the lines of:

Feb 17 22:30:24 imparanoid kernel: nvclock:7026 freeing invalid memtype dc000000-dc010000
Feb 17 22:30:24 imparanoid kernel: nvclock:7026 freeing invalid memtype dc010000-dc030000

This has already been reported against the kernel (and closed), see:
