I am running debian unstable with a 2.6.17.11 kernel,
xserver-xorg-core version 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-6, and xdm version 1:1.1.4-3.
Because this bug involves the interaction of a number of components,
please advise if this bug should be redirected to a different package.
Also, please let me know if I can provide any additional information
that would help.
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration,
Don Porter

OK. Closing the bug now because it's no longer reproducible and I expect
it was fixed in one of the related packages over the last years.
