There really isn't a whole lot to write other than to emphasize that the
kernel headers package has to be installed, which you covered.  It should
basically just work at that point, or it will tell you that it didn't and
include a pointer to the build logs.

I don't build my own kernels, though, which always complicates anything
about module builds.
