I also followed up to say something similar, since that was way rushed.

All that being said, this does seem to be legitimate and does need to be
fixed.  I see it was already fixed in experimental, but we should probably
cherry-pick just that one fix from the experimental package and upload to
sid.

Andres, do you have time to do that?  I can do it if you won't have a
chance.
