Package: nvidia-settings
Version: 195.36.24-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

I experience the same bug that is described in:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-settings/+bug/539196

I'm working on a freshly installed Debian Squeeze, with an nVidia board
detected by lspci as:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV36 [GeForce FX
5700LE] (rev a1)

I'm using the nvidia legacy driver 173xx. The patch proposed on
Launchpad solves the issue for me and is very easy to apply. I'm
attaching a copy of the patch for your convenience.

Thanks, Giovanni.
