Bug#540345: residual images shown after logging in with kdm

I'm experiencing the same, even with 195.36. The displayed screen are
from previous session (previous desktop images or stuff like that,
actually pieces of them). Actually as I understood from forums, this
issue is most related with KDM, rather than graphic card driver. I
have another laptop with an ATI graphic card and it happens also
there, but I solved it with the command " aticonfig
--set-pcs-str=DDX,ForceXAA,TRUE". However I haven't found any solution
for my laptop with NVIDIA graphic card yet.
