Placing a Dell U2410 in power save mode, with:
$ xset dpms force off
The following shows up in the Xorg.0.log:
(WW) Apr 06 14:20:16 NVIDIA(GPU-0): DELL U2410 (DFP-2): Failed to set DisplayPort power state
After a few days or so, trying to comeback from power save mode X starts to use
100% cpu time. Can't change to another tty to kill X or anything[blank screen]. A
reboot is the only thing that works. Even after I ssh in to that machine and
kill X, still can not get a tty. So I'm forced to reboot.
Not sure if it is the driver or an X issue. But I never had problems when using
195.36.31-6.
