Please move /usr/lib/nvidia/diversions/libglx.so out of the way or
delete it, this should allow libglx-nvidia-alternatives to configure
properly.
After your installation finished you should reinstall xserver-xorg-core
just in case some files are missing.
As I don't know your installation/update history, I can't reproduce how
you got this conflicting file.
The diversion handling in testing/unstable is now done very differently
from squeeze, so please open a new bug (against the appropriate package
from squeeze) in case the steps above don't help to fix your setup.
